"Project Description: For this project, we are seeking experienced GCP Cloud Practitioners to provide hands-on services for replicating Google Cloud Environment using existing build and execution of the source code, including provisioning of required services (e.g., Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, IAM) and successful deployment of the application. For this engagement, we are seeking consultants who possess the following qualifications and will be accountable for the corresponding responsibilities.

Requirements (Required): Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a strong focus on GCP. Google Cloud Engineer certification required • Proficiency in scripting or automation languages such as Python, Go, Bash, or Shell. • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, especially Kubernetes and Docker. • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, and security principles. • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Google Deployment Manager. • Strong understanding of genomic databases and data formats (such as VCF, BAM, FASTQ) and their integration within cloud environments. • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and manage cloud-native applications and services using GCP offerings such as Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, and Kubernetes Engine • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Google Deployment Manager, or Ansible to automate deployments and manage configurations. • Monitor and optimize the performance, availability, and cost-efficiency of GCP resources utilizing Stackdriver Monitoring, Logging, and other observability tools. • Implement security best practices for GCP environments, including identity and access management (IAM), data encryption, and network security. • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to support application deployment and ensure adherence to cloud architecture best practices. • Conduct regular system audits, performance tuning, and disaster recovery planning to ensure high availability and reliability of services. • Configure and recover from disaster recover service, specific to Google Cloud- Cloud Database recovery
