"Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Automation Architect to lead our infrastructure automation development project team in a project for the design and development of automated patching of infrastructure systems, and providing design and development consulting expertise to other infrastructure teams. This is a senior role that requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive innovation and transformation in a fast-paced, agile environment. In this role, you will work with our client to map and assess current infrastructure patch management processes, procedures, tools, and existing automations, identify gaps, and work to design, develop, and implement patch automation enhancements to improve the customer’s processes and resulting security posture. Responsibilities: • Lead and mentor the infrastructure patching automation development team • Explore and select automated patching methods for different technologies as appropriate • Architect and develop automation solutions • Document, communicate, and present as needed solutions, designs, design decisions, and other required artifacts • Provide design and development expertise to other infrastructure teams in a consulting capacity • Collaborate with and enable other teams to automate the lifecycle of their respective internal IT products and services • Evangelize good software engineering practices across the IT organization • Work with your team to develop, test, and implement targeted automations following an appropriate software development lifecycle utilizing DevOps methodologies. • Assist client with the updating of processes and procedures as required Required Skills: • Minimum 8 years of experience in infrastructure management, automation and development (including patch management for complex environments), with a focus on leading teams and architecting solutions
