Job Description Performs patient assessment, determines priority of care and provides any immediate interventions, analyzes assessment data, formulates and implements plan of care and evaluates for effectiveness in collaboration with medical staff and in accordance with the policies and procedures of Inspira Health Network.
Weekend: Must be available to work weekends
Float Requirements: within specialty, possibly to ED hold.
Holiday: Typically Mullica Hill does not schedule contractors on Holidays in the ED but can change due to census.
RTO- no more than 3 days accepted.
**NO Block Scheduling/Special requests**
Education & Experience:
Three (3) years of recent ED experience required.
BSN
Travel experience required (completed at least one contract assignment)
Certification/Licensure:
Current licensure with New Jersey State Board of Nursing.
American Heart Association BLS required.
American Heart Association ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
American Heart Association PALS required within 6 months of hire.
NIHSS
Critical Care Course within 1 year (or 2 years CC experience or current CEN).
Completion of the Trauma Nurse Core Courses taught by the Emergency Nurses Association within 12 months of initial assignment or followed by a minimum of 8 contact hours of education every two (2) years in trauma assessment, intervention, and stabilization.
National Certification in specialty area preferred.

The worker will receive three emails from Inspira.?
1.TEAMS link for Monday which is a virtual orientation day.?
a. They will attend a Teams meeting and then continue the day with ‘at your pace’ modules.?
2.Education to schedule orientation classes.?
a. Classes take place Tuesday-Thursday, and the candidate MUST attend. If they try to reschedule or miss a class, they will not be able to complete their assignment.?
b.?The POCT class is scheduled for the 2nd or 3rd week of the assignment. Please ensure your worker has their POCT class date and remembers to attend.?
3.HR Email- scheduling an ID Badge appointment and review policy/procedure.?
a. The ID badge is very important to obtain prior to their Orientation Shift. This is how the candidate clocks in and out, which is how invoicing/billing occurs!?
*Workers must be available for the full 7 days of their first week for Orientation. No special scheduling for Orientation is permitted. If workers cannot attend full Orientation the offer will be rescinded. *?

Unit Description: Overview: Emergency Department- must be able to assume care of adult and pediatric patients. 70 bed unit. Critical Care Equipment (Ventilator/Bipap). Auto offers with < 2 weeks RTO. Certs required: BLS, PALS, ACLS, 8 hours of stroke CEUs, 8 hours of trauma CEUs
