Job Title: Technology Specialist - IT Service, Support and Operations Job Role Type: Not Specified Contract Duration: 12 months Job Location: Bellevue, Washington, USA Experience Required: Minimum 10 years About the Role: The role involves owning solution design for multiple initiatives, working across domains to ensure cohesive solutions, identifying architectural gaps, and defining remediation or mitigation strategies. The specialist drives practical solutions enhancing quality, efficiency, revenue, profitability, and strategic goals, connecting business strategies to technology domains within T-Mobile's business processes, products, and capabilities. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end solution design ensuring quality, consistency, and alignment with TMUS standards and technical strategies. Lead cross-domain initiatives applying technical standards to develop solution architecture and drive technical strategy discussions. Understand interactions between people, processes, and technology to guide technology strategy. Compile and promote technology roadmaps and mentor team members. Develop architectural guardrails, influence stakeholders, lead innovative cross-domain technical solutions, prepare and maintain design documentation including architecture diagrams, data models, and API/microservice architecture. Collaborate with senior management to translate business requirements into technical requirements and deliver cohesive end-to-end solution architectures. Required Qualifications: 10+ years in software engineering, enterprise architecture, or technology leadership across multiple products, systems, or platforms with strong business acumen and executive presence; 6+ years in solutions design and enterprise architecture delivering technical solutions; 6+ years in enterprise applications, product lifecycle management, middle-tier services, databases, storage, distributed computing, virtualization, and application technology; 4+ years with cloud service providers (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP). Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Demonstrated success with Agile Scrum methodologies and Agile project management tools; collaboration skills to develop initiatives, features, and user stories for DevOps teams; product management experience implementing large and complex business/technology conversions; excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex technical information to varied audiences including executives and non-technical leaders.
