Job Description

The SAP EWM Lead Consultant is responsible for leading the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP EWM solutions to optimize warehouse operations. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to deliver scalable and efficient warehouse management systems, either in decentralized or embedded deployment models.

Key Responsibilities: Lead SAP EWM implementation projects from requirement gathering through go-live and support. Design and configure complex warehouse processes including: Inbound and outbound logistics Internal warehouse movements Physical inventory Wave and warehouse order management Manage both decentralized and embedded EWM deployments. Integrate EWM with other SAP modules (MM, SD, TM) and third-party systems. Conduct workshops, lead solution discussions, and manage client relationships. Guide and mentor junior consultants and support knowledge transfer. Ensure adherence to SAP Activate methodology and project best practices. Prepare documentation, training materials, and support UAT and hypercare. Required Skills & Experience: 6–10 years of experience in SAP EWM with at least 2 full-cycle implementations. Strong hands-on configuration experience in: Warehouse structure Storage control RF framework Wave management Yard and labor management Experience with both embedded and decentralized EWM. Familiarity with SAP Activate and agile/hybrid delivery models. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: SAP EWM certification. Experience with Material Flow System (MFS) and warehouse automation. Integration experience with SAP TM or Yard Logistics. Background in manufacturing, retail, or logistics industries. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, IT, or Supply Chain.
