Company Overview: Capgemini About the Role: Experienced DevOps Engineer with strong OpenShift expertise to support, automate, and optimize application deployment pipelines across hybrid or multi-cloud environments. Collaborates closely with development, cloud, and platform engineering teams to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable delivery of applications. Must have experience with VM migration to OpenShift Container Platform (OCP). Desired experience includes migrating Autosys batch jobs and MongoDB configurations to OpenShift and utilizing DevinAI or other AI tools for migration accelerators. Key Responsibilities: Deploy, configure, and manage Red Hat OpenShift clusters in on-premises or cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). Manage cluster upgrades, patches, lifecycle maintenance, and optimize resource utilization and autoscaling. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or ArgoCD. Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Ansible, Helm, or similar tools. Automate deployments, provisioning, and support GitOps model. Design and manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes standards and OpenShift best practices. Support container build pipelines, image scanning, and container security. Troubleshoot deployment issues and platform incidents. Implement security best practices including RBAC, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, network policies, cluster hardening. Integrate monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Splunk, Datadog). Ensure compliance with enterprise and regulatory requirements. Work cross-functionally with development, SRE, cloud, and architecture teams. Provide L2/L3 support for OpenShift and DevOps environments. Prepare documentation, runbooks, and onboarding guides. Required Qualifications: 5 to 10+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering. Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift 4.x. Proficiency with CI/CD tools Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, ArgoCD, Tekton. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes fundamentals. Solid understanding of Linux (RHEL), networking, and security. Hands-on with Terraform, Ansible, Helm or similar Infrastructure as Code tools. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Scripting skills in Python, Bash or Groovy. Preferred Qualifications: Red Hat certifications (RHCSA, RHCE, OpenShift Administrator/Expert). Experience with service mesh (Istio), API gateways, or OpenShift Virtualization. Familiarity with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD, FluxCD. Knowledge of observability stacks Prometheus, Grafana, ELK. Experience in regulated environments such as banking, finance, healthcare.
