JOB DESCRIPTION: Transformation Solution Engineer "Drives end-to-end technical strategy and architectural patterns for enterprise-scale front end platforms (dotcom scale) Leads transformation initiatives integrating legacy and modern stacks (monolith to micro frontend, SSR/edge rendering) Owns technical governance, frameworks, and reusable architecture libraries Partners with business and platform teams to drive AI-forward engineering practices"

Candidate showed ability to talk about solutions in regards to GitFlow and some infrastructure scaling. However, struggled to demonstrate technical skills of a full stack architecture. Knowledge in terms of auth was limited to JWTs (and couldn't identify any potential issues, when they might be good, or alternative approaches). In terms of frontend architecture, failed to identify approaches or libraries to managing state on the client, requesting data (outside of basic fetch integrated with useEffect), or potential approaches to cache data and/or reduce calls from the clientside (outside of rate limiting on server). So at an architecture level, I would expect some knowledge into these topics and will have to recommend passing.
