Home Health/hospice Clinical Nurse I (rn)

Job Description Duties: Job Summary: -The Clinical Nurse I –role provides direct patient care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act to assigned patients in the Home Health and/or Hospice setting. -The nurse collaborates with other disciplines of the health care team to ensure the delivery of safe, timely and appropriate quality patient care. -This includes providing physical assessments, IV, Infusion, nursing interventions, pain management, medication administrations, specimen collection, meeting nutritional needs, and teaching and discharge needs of the patients assigned. -Utilizes the nursing process based on evidence-based best practices to meet patient care needs. -Evaluates and adjusts the nursing care process as necessary with consultation as needed and confers with the appropriate resource personnel when making ethical/legal/medical dilemma decisions. -Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills: Required Skills & Experience: -Home Health: Requires at a minimum of two (2) years of acute clinical nursing experience, clinical home health care experience is required. -Hospice: Requires at a minimum of two (2) years of acute clinical nursing experience or home health experience. Preferred Skills & Experience: -Hospice nursing experience is preferred.

Education: Required Education: -Home Health: Completion of an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher education. -Hospice: Completion of an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher education. Preferred Education: -N/A. Required Certifications & Licensure: -All Clinical Nurse I's must have current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California. -All Clinical Nurse I's are required to have current BLS certification prior to clinical rotation. -Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order. Preferred Certifications & Licensure: -N/A. This is the pay range that RightSourcing (a part of Magnit) reasonably expects to pay someone for this position, however, as a supplier your expected pay range may vary and/or include certain benefits like: Stipends (for clinical traveler workers only), Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K [include any compulsory benefits such as commissions, incentive bonuses, etc. if applicable]. Pay range (USD)60 hourly - (USD)90 hourly.
