Job Description: Project Manager Work location: Waltham, MA

Project management support to Project teams working in GI (Global Immunology) and GAD (Global Antigen Design) functions on new vaccine candidate identification mainly dealing with planning, budget, coordination of activities and associated key deliverables, process oversee and communication with the GI/GAD Lead, the GI/GAD team and its extended contributors (i.e. Bioinformatics & Biostatistics).

Coordination of the GI/GAD team activities for 1 to 3 projects in close working relationship with the GI/GAD Leads and other project representatives from other functions (Global Project Management, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Department, CMC Representatives)

Detailed activities: • Work closely with the GI/GAD Leads in the organization of research team meetings, preparing meeting agenda & minutes, acting as a moderator, a facilitator, recording key decisions and monitoring actions. • Use and maintain the Research project workspace to ensure availability of key information and critical documents (budget, presentation to committees, minutes of meetings, project milestones) to the extended GI/GAD team. • Ensure operational alignment of planning & resource estimation needs with R&D definitions and tools including development of research macroplanning, resource budget preparation, long term budget preparation in close relationship with research teams and Functional planners. • Develop and update planning using Sanofi software, by providing timely and precise information to the Functional Planner. Bring ad hoc support to the general project team on matters related to planning & resources allocation. • Act as a relay with the external costs manager for contract follow up & external cost monitoring. • Use PM tools (including collective intelligence) for brainstorming, trouble shooting, strategy definition, risk analysis and lessons learned exercises. Use of SCRUM methodology, acting as a scrum Master. • Support internal and external communication of team activity progress, ensuring clarity, high quality and consistency of format, and overall visibility in related database or SharePoint/TEAMS
