Senior Data Analyst

Job Title: Senior Data Analyst Location: Austin, TX

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Data Analyst & Modeler to interpret complex data requirements, design scalable data models, fine-tune SQL performance, and automate schema generation. Some of the key responsibilities of this role are:

• Assess business use cases and determine underlying data requirements • Design, document, and deploy conceptual, logical, and physical data models • Automate schema creation (DDL) from physical models using tools like Erwin • Validate and refine models created by peer team members • Tune and optimize SQL queries and table structures • Investigate datasets to identify sensitive or regulated data elements • Maintain and enhance metadata within the enterprise data catalog

Requirements • Minimum 4+ years of experience in data modeling (logical/physical), preferably with Dimensional Models • Strong proficiency with data modeling tools such as Erwin or similar • Advanced hands-on experience in data analysis and data profiling • Proven background in SQL tuning and performance optimization • Practical experience working with Google Cloud Platform, especially BigQuery • Familiarity with Git/GitHub workflows and CI/CD pipelines • Exposure to Informatica EDC or equivalent metadata management tools is an advantage
