Core Responsibilities Conduct User Research: Identify target user groups, conduct interviews, surveys, and usability tests to understand user behaviors, needs, and pain points. Analyze Data: Use research findings and product analytics to create user personas, journey maps, and user flows that inform design decisions. Create Design Solutions: Develop wireframes, storyboards, prototypes (both low- and high-fidelity), and site maps to visualize and test design concepts. Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with product managers, developers, and UI designers to ensure seamless integration of designs and alignment with technical and business requirements. Iterate and Refine: Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iteratively improve the design and resolve usability issues. Advocate for the User: Ensure designs meet accessibility standards and advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the development process. Key Skills and Qualifications Proficiency in Design Tools: Expertise in industry-standard software such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, or Balsamiq. Understanding of UCD Principles: A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), information architecture, and interaction design principles. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify design challenges and create effective solutions.
