We are seeking a Senior Lead QA Analyst to join our team and take responsibility for designing, developing, and executing tests against multiple applications related to customer-facing Digital Experience. This role involves working with online account management (OAC) and related applications while providing leadership in quality assurance activities.
• Design, develop, and execute tests against multiple applications related to customer-facing Digital Experience • Provide detailed test case development, software testing, verification, and certification of deliverables across the systems development and implementation lifecycle • Coordinate Quality Assurance activities of assigned projects to ensure software meets required standards prior to production release • Lead day-to-day operations of QA activities aligned with Digital Experience Organizations product teams • Identify, coordinate and execute QA activities in alignment with ongoing development efforts and project timelines • Drive decisions and evaluate ways to improve quality and efficiency • Handle tool evaluation and selection • Lead QA initiatives with limited supervision under the guidance of a full-SDLC team manager • Provide day-to-day oversight of QA activities in performing testing responsibilities • Execute in an iterative development and delivery model • Monitor, lead and support testing efforts across scrum teams • Review project documentation as a basis for testing documentation and product understanding • Design and development of test strategies and detailed test cases • Design, develop and identify test cases for automation • Execute component testing and integration testing with dependent systems • Ensure accountability, review and audit test cases with team members for constructive analysis and feedback • Handle defect identification, tracking and communication of testing efforts • Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status • Identify risks, concerns or challenges with testing efforts providing alternative options, workarounds or resolution • Work closely with analysts and software engineers in the development, execution, and results of tests as part of a full-lifecycle team • Proactively determine technical issues and solutions • Recommend overall QA process improvements and potential new technologies to aid in QA efforts • Manage issues encountered in testing • Engage appropriate teams in resolution of challenges, primarily with environmental issues or SIT testing with external parties or End to End testing • Make adjustments and priority decisions as projects move through the lifecycle
• 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance • Strong experience with SOAP, Microservices, and Postman • Proficiency in Java • Experience with test case development and execution • Knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices • Experience with integration testing and component testing • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments • Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks • Knowledge of digital experience applications • Experience with online account management systems • Understanding of full software development lifecycle • Experience with defect tracking and quality metrics
