About the Role
We are seeking a Test Engineer (QE) for a contract position with CTS / AMEX in Phoenix, AZ. This is a Day 1 onsite position requiring candidates with prior AMEX experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Perform manual and automated testing of software applications
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality deliverables
- Participate in requirements review and design sessions
- Execute regression testing and validate bug fixes
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience working at American Express (AMEX)
- Strong experience in Quality Engineering and testing methodologies
- Knowledge of test planning, test case design, and execution
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Nice to Have
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks
- Knowledge of API testing
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience in financial services industry
